Most of you are probably not very familiar with the where abouts of Guam. Guam is 13.5 degrees North and 144.8 degrees East. It is a very small island located near the equator. The way i usually tell people is that Guam is located South of Japan and east of the Philippines. Some of its Neighboring islands are the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands (CNMI), Japan, Palau, Philippines, Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), and Papua New Guinea. Guam is 212 miles big. We are part of the Marianas, but we are a U.S. Territory. The population of Guam is estimated about 170,000 people. Economy is structured around tourism. We are a U.S. Territory therefore we speak English and use U.S. currency.
